Hi! My name is Emily Tyler and welcome to The Kitchen Philosophy! I am the recipe developer, food stylist and photographer behind the scenes. I grew up in Connecticut and started cooking at a very young age. My mother taught me how to bake and cook from scratch and I continue her love of using seasonal fruits and vegetables with every meal. I specialize in easy to follow recipes that use local produce and artisan products. We call Virginia home and live on a Christmas tree farm which has been allowed to grow into a fabulous evergreen forest, and where I feed my other passion, gardening.
