Snow Peas and Blue Cheese
Updated: Jul 22
This simple combination really doesn't need a recipe, it is just two flavors that go really well together - and a couple of tips if you are growing them in your garden.
Heat a cast iron skillet to medium high heat, add a bit of butter and saute until tender, remove from the heat and crumble blue cheese on top and let it melt into the snow peas.
when you are harvesting the snow peas, cut just after the bud end to save the step of removing them later.
When your snow pea harvesting gets away from you, and the outer shell becomes too tough, you can still eat them, just shell the peas, they are fabulous raw in a salad, a bit like edamame
